A friend of mine had been living in a council house for years. The concept seemed a neat one. A local council built these houses and became responsible for their maintenance. However, with real estate becoming such a great area for investment, the concept was destined to become dated. Today, the stress is very much on owning a home. There are a million websites on the world wide web that offer us great information on mortgages. But then, they are mostly promoting their own mortgages. Choosing a great mortgage loan is certainly not an easy task these days.
