Many couples come up with wedding themes based on where they met or what they like to do together. For example, a couple that met in a particular city may want to celebrate that city, or even hold the nuptials there.

Although more extreme, some couples have exchanged vows while jumping out of an airplane or skiing down a mountain. Why not pledge your love in the waters of a tropical island or create a traditional renaissance fair?

Make up a list of all of the things that you might like for your wedding. Let it be everything that you could imagine enjoying. This celebration is for the two of you, so let the wedding reflect the couple that you are.

Creating your dream day may be as simple as a few well-placed decorations or an island setting. For a tropical wedding, you may want to stand on the beaches of a favourite vacation place or just decorate the reception hall like a luau. The bridesmaids can wear leis and the groomsmen can wear sandals.

If you're looking for a more renaissance themed wedding, then you may be able to capture this with medieval music or entertainment—a jester might be a great addition. Of course, the outfits that you wear will reflect your theme. A bride dressed as Guinevere and the groom as Lancelot would make for beautiful pictures.

Try to find the recognizable details in the theme of your wedding and incorporate them into the decorating plan. You may also want to find food that would compliment the theme as well. A roasted pig can make a great conversation piece as well as dinner.

And the theme can even begin with the invitations. Try to find a way to signal to your guests the theme of your wedding. Some couples have even had their guest dress the part of the wedding theme as well. It's like a great big costume party and a trip back in time.

Of course, don't make it too strange or no one will go along. An alien themed wedding might seem like a good idea, but if the wedding party is that only one that plays the part, then it can be more awkward than anything.

You will find that wedding are conducted everywhere. There are some people who like gardens, there are some people who like farms, and then there are some people who want the big dramatic wedding. You will find that this is the moment where you will remember for the rest of your life. The backdrop to the wedding needs to be special. The pictures of your wedding will be cherished for years, so why not make your wedding exactly what you wanted. You will want to make sure that your flowers and your gowns are beautiful, as well as, the scenery.

As for the location of the wedding you will find that it is the center factor of the wedding. You will find that some people prefer traditional weddings, however, some people prefer non-traditional locations like castles. You will want to keep in mind that this type of wedding will be adventurous and romantic and even little dramatic. It's the modern fairy tale wedding.

When it comes to the castle you will want to consider that there were real castles in America and there are castles throughout the world that you can choose from. You will find that the castles in America are, of course, not that old compared to European castles, however, they could be castles that were moved to America block by block. You will find that there are many modern castles too that you can choose from. As for celebrities and personalities, castles are key. Castles are becoming popular areas for weddings. Then again, who wouldn't want to have the castle and the fairy tale ending? Many of the small country-castles you will find are maintained by decedents of the original family. Many castles are still in possession of the original family and that is what makes them even more special.

Recently, Eva Longoria and even Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have gotten married in a castle. This is very popular for Hollywood; however, it can be a dream come true to many other people who are not in the Limelight.

Keep in mind that the castle wedding can be very expensive, however, you will need to consider that this is a great way to start the beginning of your life as a couple. You will want to consider that the money is well worth the memories that you will make by having a castle wedding.
