One of the first things you will need is to get a diary, one with extra pages and plenty of room to write your notes. A day to a page is the best. There are planner diaries but you may like to use a notebook where you will have more room to keep records. Remember you will have samples of materials, pictures of styles of wedding dresses, bridal flowers, wedding cakes etc that you like and these help narrowing your choices down. If your boss is agreeable, you may be able to schedule your working hours to give you some extra time off, or time off when vendors you need to contact will be available.
