Surrey is a wondrous county nestled along the Thames River. Just a short distance from the internationally prominent center of London, Surrey attracts guests from around the world. This scenic and extraordinary county offers a unique atmosphere to tourists. This is a top trap for travellers seeking a quiet and casual getaway. This by no means implies the county of Surrey is boring. There is so much to do and see, better cannot cover the entire county in one trip. Many travellers return to Surrey year after year. Drawn to the tone and friendly manner, visitors continue to be drawn to this southern shire of England.



One of 36 guarded bequest fields in Britain, the Surrey Hills is a principal locality of importance for wayfarers coming to the realm. There are literally 100's of farmers' markets that go on round the year, the prime ever one in Surrey happening in Milford in 1999. The better locations for these events are Cranleigh, Ripley and Woking. Sites where you can eat and drink range from old-world country pubs to typically English tea rooms to sophisticated continental restaurants to fast food chains.

After a relaxing day of sight-seeing and shopping, many tourists head out for a night on the place. While the county is quiet midst the day, the roads come alive after dark. Multitudinous night clubs and pubs offer comedy demonstrates for diversion. Dancing is another well known mode to spend the evening. If you would like to continue your relaxing day and carry it into the evening, Surrey has cinemas and theatres. The theatres stage numerous live productions from the start the year. Sporting events are commonly held at night as well. These are just a petty examples of available entertainment while seeing.

Surrey continues to attract thousands of journeyers each year. Myriads of them call throughout June to experience the Derby in individual. This is an international event that draws many jet-setters to the area. Though the county is economically stable, the residents do rely on tourism as a source of revenue. A trip to Surrey will provide you with a memorable experience. The casual and relaxed ambiance is appealing and the location along the Thames River is pristine.
