You need to have positive thinking at different stages of your life which is how your goal setting becomes different with every twist in life. You start with wanting to build a career. In your subconscious mind you decide you want to be like someone else. You keep struggling to reach that illusion thinking it is ultimate success. What happens if that person fails? Your initiative will disappear and thus without any positive thinking you will fail too. This is the law of attraction, where the world reacts to you the same way that you do. That is why it is advised to have your own unique goal setting. If you want to succeed in your job, you have to know the requirements of that job and match them with your abilities. If you don't meet the job requirements then with some positive thinking you may start taking courses or attending trainings. Don't think about success or failure; just think about making an effort!
Then you move on. You gain strength and get hold of your career. With a lack of self confidence and illness of positive thinking, difficulties will keep popping up to you everywhere. Don't be too optimistic to an extent that you can't see your problems. Sometimes you need to face the facts and surrender to failures. If you fail several times, you can either get more discouraged or with positive thinking you may learn and gain experience and know how to get yourself out of every crash.
Even with private businesses, success never happens by chance. You have to keep the positive thinking at every point. Write down how you imagine your business will be in the future. Visualize how would like to be when the business is a success. Think of what might hinder that success. Invest some positive thinking into each situation and imagine how you would want to break down any barriers. Think of how you need to improve yourself to become a commander of your situations. Just like an athlete who keeps improving in his game using positive thinking and believing he can do it at every state of time.
As you move on with your life, you get into the stage of marriage and kids. Feelings of negativity reflect on you as discontent, whining and criticism. Just increase your positive thinking. Force yourself to think of positive ideas which are naturally in your subconscious mind. With the help of good sleep, healthy eating and exercise you will change your pattern of life. It's very important to stay in contact with positive thinking people. In case your spouse is the negative thinker then in this case you should spend with them lots of time. Do not take any negativity personally and lighten them up with your positive thinking. Remember the law of attraction and acknowledge your spouse's positive accomplishments.
This way you get moving on and you start the stage of parenting. Positive thinking with your kids can get them to be well-behaved. Starting with giving positive statements about what they do. If a child gets a bad grade in an exam, direct them by saying, "you were able to pass without any studies, I bet you can do great with just a little more effort" When children inherit positive thinking, their approach to life becomes much more responsible. Reassuring sentences like "try again" and "this will pass" can remind you that the battle is not forever and that you have a long term goal to get to. Definitely positive thinking has to be followed with lots of wise actions and complex decisions. You don't just get into battles, but you actually choose them and choose how you react to them. Since your mind though can only handle one thought at a time if you get rid of the negative thinking, there's more space for the positive thinking.
Life overall is complex. It keeps twisting and turning all through, but if you approach it in a positive way, you'll enjoy it as a trip rather than get frustrated about it as an endless battle.
Positive Thinking Law Of Attraction
I've spoken before about going 'beyond positive thinking" and many people have emailed to ask about the best methods of staying in a positive state of mind, and how they can best help the process along.
One method that is very effective is to use affirmation programs that shift your state of mind and provide you with massive amounts of positive suggestion and commands. These definitely make a difference--I've used one for over ywo years now with great results.
The two most popular of these programs are Mindzoom, and Affirmware's Sculptor 3, both of which are great programs (I personally use Sculptor 3, but Mindzoom has it's fans too).
The real benefit of these programs is that they provide you with a relentless repetition of the "right" messages. The key word in that last sentence is "repetition," because that's what it's all about--relentless repetition.
Imagine being exposed to positive, affirming messages one day a week, and then back to the same of negative stuff the rest of the week. How much good is that really going to do you? Probably not much. Of course, it is better than nothing, but you're certainly not going to get the dramatic results you want.
Now imagine being exposed to positive, affirming messages six days a week, and the old negative crap only one day a week. Do you think your state of mind is going to be much, much better? Do you think your self-esteem and confidence would increase substantially? I guarantee you it will. "Repetition is the mother of all skill,"as the old saying goes. And it is just as true wityh posotve thinking as it is with riding a bike.
"What we are exposed to on a consistent basis is what we become."
Ever wonder why most criminals come out of prison worse than when they went in? Think about what they are exposed to on a consistent basis. It's common sense really: whatever you are are exposed to with extreme repetition WILL influence your life. The more repetition, the more influence it will have on you.
Take advantage of any and all positive information you can: software programs, positive books, audios, seminars, and of course, be around as many positive people as you can.
Remember, extreme repetition is how people change. Use every resource you can to get the "right ideas" into your head, and then repeat them relentlessly. If you use affirmations, repeat those relentlessly too. At a certain point, all this positive information will overwhelm your old, critical voice, and it'll fade away into the sunset.
