The Law of Attraction is working in your life right this very moment. Whether you realize it or not, you are attracting good and bad into your life. If you are going to be attracting things into your life, why not attract the best? You can use this amazing law to your advantage only if you use visualization as frequently as possible. Why is visualization so important?
To illustrate this point, let's look at a quote from the author Genevieve Behrend. "The exercise of the visualizing faculty keeps your mind in order, and attracts to you the things you need to make life more enjoyable, in an orderly way. If you train yourself in the practice of deliberately picturing your desire and carefully examining your picture, you will soon find that your thoughts and desires proceed in a more orderly procession than ever before." She goes on to say, "everyone visualizes, whether they know it or not. Visualizing is the great secret of success. The conscious use of this great power attracts to you multiplied resources, intensifies your wisdom, and enables you to make use of advantages which you formerly failed to recognize."
More perfect words on the subject were probably never written. This explains clearly why visualization is so important to all of us. We are all visualizing one way or another. When you see your bank statement and it tells you that you don't have any money, you probably think of it for awhile. You see the picture of your bank statement with a negative balance and you in turn, attract the same thing again in the future. The key is to stop thinking about the things you don't want and start thinking about the things you do want.
This is not easy. In fact, Wallace Wattles says that "sustained and consecutive thought is the hardest work in the world." This is why so many people try and fail. It is crucial that you give this your absolute best effort. Your results will probably not change overnight. It takes time to change anything. This is especially true when you are surrounded by what you don't want.
Probably the most important factor in this process is consistency. Set aside 10-20 minutes per day where you can be alone. Put your body in a completely relaxed position. Breathe deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth. Let your whole body relax. Then, allow the images of the things you want to come onto the screen of your mind. Don't force it. At first, you will find that it is difficult to keep one picture on your mind for longer than four or five seconds. This is perfectly fine. Just don't get frustrated. It will get easier with practice.
Doing this every day will form a wonderful habit. When you do this habitually it becomes easier and easier. You will see your results starting to change, slowly but surely. Visualization attracts to you the things you need to make life more enjoyable, in an orderly way.
