Why your Relationship Will Not Work Do you find that you and your partner spend more time fighting than you do talking? What often starts out as jealousy or controlling behavior can quickly escalate to physical abuse. Perhaps your partner puts you down often, does not allow you to be with your friends or family, or even has a tendency to slap, push, or hit you. All of these are signs that you need to seek help. These are all signs of unhealthy relationships. Another sign would be cheating. Because a good marriage or commitment between two people needs to consist of honesty, cheating is never warranted. Perhaps your partner or spouse has sudden business trips or trips with friends. Or maybe you feel as if they have withdrawn from you both sexually and mentally, yet all of a sudden will bring you flowers and gifts. These types of cheating relationships are not able to work until both partners are honest with each other. But how can you work to avoid or correct some of these issues? In cases of abuse, most often the only way to help that is by breaking up and seeking mental health help, and at times legal help. 1. There is no more communication
You do remember that, at first you talked so much about everything, even trifles. The phone used to ring all the time and messages poured. Now you only talk about ''what shall we have for lunch'', ''did you pay the rent'' or ''I have a headache'' - this is a serious sign.
2. Sex-only from time to time and without passion
You only remember about how it was at the beginning, no sleep at night, only sex...again and again. Now you do this only once a week and after that you fall asleep. If you talk about it but the situation does not improve, it is clear that passion has disappeared and you relationship become hopeless.
3. He prefers to spend time with friends
Not only that he has the bad habit of being late every night because he can't miss the meeting with his friends for beer, but he also does not call you to say this. He gets angry when you make reproaches and he tells you he is bored to be with you all the time...but does not invite you to go out with him.
4. He is extremely jealous
He does not believe you are late because of the heavy traffic, that you did not answer the phone because you were sleeping and asks all sorts of questions like ''where did you stay so long?'' or ''who is the man calling you?''. He asks you to stay with him instead of going out with the girls. When you are with friends or family he observes you are too popular and smile too much.
5. He talks too much about his ex
Everything makes him remember her and he compares you with her.
