Perhaps your partner puts you down often, does not allow you to be with your friends or family, or even has a tendency to slap, push, or hit you. All of these are signs that you need to seek help. Another sign would be cheating. Because a good marriage or commitment between two people needs to consist of honesty, cheating is never warranted. Perhaps your partner or spouse has sudden business trips or trips with friends. Or maybe you feel as if they have withdrawn from you both sexually and mentally, yet all of a sudden will bring you flowers and gifts. These types of cheating relationships are not able to work until both partners are honest with each other. But how can you work to avoid or correct some of these issues?

In cases of abuse, most often the only way to help that is by breaking up and seeking mental health help, and at times legal help. But for many other issues it is as easy as seeking out how to have a relationship. Getting help does not mean you are weak, it simply means that you are in need of guidance.
