The most famous building associated with the city is Warwick Castle, which has been on its current site since 1068, making it almost a thousand years old (Warwick itself is older and can be traced back to at least 914 AD). The castle is a major tourist attraction in the UK and visitors from all over the globe to visit this magnificent building. Those who are brave enough can fire a trebuchet ? a kind of catapult that can send 30 pound stone balls over impressive distances.
