Use baby soaps for the babies and the small children. Keep the use of the soaps as minimum as possible. Use it only to clean the armpits, hands, feet and the genital areas if you are not too sweaty.

Pat the skin with a soft towel, instead of rubbing the skin dry. This will prevent flaking of the skin. Last but not the least drink lots of the water that will help maintain the moisture level of the skin.
