Do you watch historical programs on TV or read any books or articles on this topic? If your answer is yes then you must remember seeing quite a few wonderful tapestries from the Middle Ages that usually portrays famous people in a still motion or a picture of hunting such as these:
These tapestries are made by hand using yarn that has been formed from animal wool and these yarns are colored in various colors. The wonderful looking designs of the tapestries portray the historical and monumental events such as treaties and battle scenes that have molded the course of times past. These tapestries may have been passed down as heirlooms, contributed to the museums or sold in the market. Regardless of any of these three points, the well-known tapestries that still exist today, from Europe and countries, makes us think of the craftsmen who have made these tapestries with immense affection.
When you purchase a contemporary tapestry, you will sense similar feeling of art, comfort and history. However, it would be greater if you can make yourself a tapestry. It is not necessary that your tapestry should be as heavy and as big as the old ones. You can make a smaller edition to place it on your wall or place it in the family room as a rug.
A packaged set of tapestry related materials could be purchased from a fabric or craft shop. If your first attempt is not a masterwork then don’t feel discouraged, as you have not let down any one. In fact, your family members will adore the beautiful designs that you have created from special souvenir and heirloom.
You don’t have enough time to make a tapestry? Don’t worry. There are many shops that sell tapestries and you can find out the different costs and superiority of the tapestries available in different shops. Whichever way, your family and guests will adore the exceptional look of the tapestry that you decorate in your room.

Sun rooms, three-season rooms, Florida rooms, whatever you want to call them — more of us are finding ways to bring a little outdoors inside. Now, imagine if you could extend the blend of outdoor-nature and interior style, to blur the line between home and garden. Your sun room could turn out to be your favorite room in the house!
• Fancy iron-work (think French cafe style) or comfy cottage wicker are popular furniture choices, with a pillow-heaped day bed for lounging with a lemonade on a hot summer day.
• Add a jungle of potted house plants — over-sized, grouped in corners or on either side of the patio doors, with a single lovely piece of garden art nestled among the greenery.
• Appeal to all the senses. Scented candles, or simply a few arrangements of aromatic herbs and flowers, are a soothing delight. And what about a delicate set of windchimes near an open window, or the soft water-music of an indoor fountain, perhaps wall-mounted if space is an issue?
• The back wall, facing the garden, might feature a textured finish (faux stone?) or even a little trompe l'oeil painting if you're artistically inclined. The idea is to use the colors and textures of nature.
• Or consider a pre-printed wall mural, as durable and easy to install as any good quality vinyl wallpaper. Murals are available in any color and artistic style, from Monet's masterpieces to the frankly-fantasy landscape, or you can have custom murals printed from your own photographs or artwork.
• Sisal or jute carpeting is hard-wearing and affordable, and very much in fashion, either in neutral tones or in simple stripes. If bare windows aren't your thing, coordinate with seagrass, reed, or woven wooden blinds or shades for privacy and sunlight control, beneath a breezy drift of simple sheers.
Throughout the sun room, keep the colours light and airy — to reflect the sense of space and freedom you draw from outside — with a rich splash of accent colour in throw cushions and accessories, matching the glorious blooms of the garden outside the windows.... Heaven!
