Letter writing has multiple benefits and profits for children of all ages. A child who is asked to write their own thank you letters after receiving gifts can teach them a valuable lesson about gratitude and appreciation while tapping into their personal writing style. When a child practices writing letters, it can help promote better penmanship and vocabulary skills while ultimately leading to better comprehension and higher grades in school. Parents are more likely to see the advantages of this task while children might see it as an assignment they would get in school.
