I lived in Spain for over 30 years and only recently have a ventured outside of the country. I live in the slightly colder UK now where I am able to spread my Grandma's Sangria secrets to my work colleagues.



It has to be said that my Granny's Sangria is the very best around. You won't get better than it, she uses the best ingredients and although some people can afford the best, she can and she does. The outcome is the best ever. Amazing.

even after following my grandma's closely guarded reciepe to a T, I still cant manage to get it to taste like hers. I guess she just has the magic grandma touch.

She is famous in the town she lives in for her amazing homemade wines but her Sangria recipe really does take the biscuit.

She made a few bit of money selling cups of the good stuff from a small shop next to her house but recently she has just made it for family and friends.

She actually won an award for brilliance. I was so proud of her that day, I weaped for days after. Awwww.

I am going to visit her next summer and I am going to get her tips and advice on how to make the true delight. She is amazing, the whole world should know ok?

I want to be able to pass on her secrets and share them with millions of people. She will see how amazing she is when millions enjoy the Sangria.

Sangria is a treat for local people and tourists alike and if it is made right, it can make someone's day amazing, just like my Grandma has done year after year.
