Amongst the most talked about cars in the circuit is undoubtedly the Shelby Cobra. This car was designed and manufactured by Carroll Shelby. Carroll, a prolific racing drive of the yesteryears, is also a very famed designer of automobiles and this wonderful car ? the Shelby Cobra ? is his brainchild. Carroll retired from the racing circuit in the year 1969, as his health was no more permitting him. After this, a driving school was started by him. He also started the Shelby-American company around this time. The series of much famed cobra cars were conceived of and designed by him in this shop. A few years back, a new contract was signed between Carroll Shelby and the Ford Company. This naturally raised hopes among the sports enthusiasts as well as the Shelby products that were manufactured with the aid of the Ford Company. Quite in similar lines, a replica of the Backdraft Cobra was introduced in Dubai. The Backdraft Company was actually built towards the end of the year 2000 and it focused on the niche automobiles.
