Our skin is an important organ. It is a border of our body to the external environment.



The skin has three main layer. The epidermis, dermis and subcutis. The epidermis contains of keratinocites. The dermis consist of ?hair root?, sebaceous gland, sweat gland and nerve endings. The subcutis contains of fat layer.

The pore is the part of epidermis where hair grows out above the hair root, stayed the sebaceous gland which produce sebum or we can just say, the oil. Cebumis much more produced in people with oily skin, sometimes it close up/plug up the pore, so the pore looks bigger and filled with comedo. Actually, the size of the pore is not changing it is not getting bigger or smaller. But, our treatment to the skin can change the look.

Nowadays there are many techniques to shrink the pore. We can do peeling to shrink the pore. By peeling, the skin become soft and smoother, so, the pore is likely shrunk, and become unseen.

Within 28 days, naturally our skin is exfoliating. The ?dead? cells is replaced by the new ones. If we clean it regularly, the dead skin cells will automatically disappear and the skin will be cleaned. But some of us are lazy or do not have extra time to do it, so the dead skin cells just stay right there on our skin.
