Both came to know that what Allah said in the Quran is the Truth.
On the other hand, Scholars in different fields will know the Truth of the Quran when they read and understand the verses that talk about their corresponding scientific interests especially when they do compare the Quran with the Bible.
Any way, all the Jinn and mankind will come to know the Truth of the Quran at the Day of Resurrection

The Noble Quran:
Chapter 38 in the Noble Quran is composed of 88 verses.
Verses from 1-10 are talking about 1) Allah swore by the Quran which possesses honour and clarity of exposition. 2) the disbelievers are in false pride and schism, 3) the disbelievers said that the Quran is an invention, mere lies and Muhammad is a sorcerer liar, how come He made all of the gods one God?
------------
The Verses 38:1-10
[1] Sad: by the Quran, full of admonition: (this is the truth).
[2] nay, but those who disbelieve are in false pride and schism. They are steeped in self-glory and separatism.
[3] How many generations before them did we destroy? In the end they cried (for mercy) when there was no longer time for being saved!
[4] So they wonder that a Warner has come to them from among themselves! And the unbelievers say, "This is a sorcerer telling lies! (this is a wizard, a charlatan).
[5] What," has he made the gods (all) into one God? Truly this is an astounding thing!"
[6] and the leader among them go away (impatiently), (saying), "walk ye away, and remain constant to your gods! For this is truly a thing designed (against you)!
[7] "we never heard (the like) of this among the people of these latter days: this is nothing but a made-up tale! It is nothing but an invention."
[8] "What! Has the message been sent down to him - (Prophet Muhammad) of all persons among us?"...but they are in doubt concerning my (own) message! Nay, they have not yet tasted my punishment!
[9] or have they the treasures of the mercy of thy lord, - the exalted in power, the grantor of bounties without measure, the mighty, the great giver?
[10] Or, is theirs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and that is between them? if so, let them ascend by (their) means!
------------
The interpretation of the verses:
1) Allah swore by the Quran which possesses honour and clarity of exposition; it is an honour to those who believe in it and it is a clear exposition of the people of old as well as of upcoming generations.
It is said that, Sad, by the Quran stands for: Read the Qur'an until you distinguish between faith and disbelief, the prophetic wont and blameworthy innovation, truthfulness and lying, the lawful and the unlawful, good and evil.
2) However, the disbelievers are in false pride and schism; they dwell in conceit, in self-glory and in disdain of faith, and defiance, disagreement with, dispute and enmity towards, the Prophet Muhammad, and it is for this that Allah swore by the Quran.
3) How many a generation, a community of past communities, Allah has destroyed before them, and they cried out, when the chastisement was sent down on them, when it was no longer the time for escape?
4) And they marvel that a warning messenger from among themselves; from their own lineage had come unto them, to warn them and to threaten them with [the punishment of] the Fire after resurrection. And the disbelievers said that Muhammad is a wizard who sows dispute between people, a charlatan who lies about Allah; He is a sorcerer liar.
5) The Disbelievers said: how come this Prophet made all of the gods one God? For Muhammad kept telling them ‘Say: there is no god except God’. Could one God be sufficient to fulfill all our needs, as Muhammad claims? The disbelievers exclaimed!
6) And the council from among them go about, from the place of their assembly where they heard the Prophet (s) say, ‘Say: there is no god except one God’, saying, ‘Go!, They said to one another, go, and stand by your gods, adhere firmly to worship of them; lo! This that has been mentioned concerning the Oneness of God is indeed a thing sought, from us.
7) We never heard of this in the latter-day creed. We did not hear from the Jews or Christian that God is One. This is surely nothing but an invention, mere lies.
8) Has the Remembrance, the Quran, been revealed to him, Muhammad, out of [all of] us’, when he is neither the elder nor the noblest among us? In other words, it could not have been revealed to him.
Allah, exalted be He, says: Nay, but they are in doubt concerning My Remembrance, My revelation, that is, the Quran, for they deny the one who has brought it. Nay, but they have not yet tasted My chastisement, and if they were to taste it, they would certainly believe the Prophet Muhammad in what he has brought — but then [in such a case] their belief [in the Prophet] would be of no benefit to them.
9) Do they possess the treasuries of your Lord’s mercy, the Mighty, the Victor, the Bestower?
Do they possess the prophet hood and the Scripture, so that they might give it to whomever they want?
10) Or do they possess the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them?
Or do they have power over the heavens and the earth and over all created beings and marvels that are between the heavens and the earth?
If this is what they claim: Then let them ascend by the means, [of ascension] that lead to the heaven and bring down some revelation and then assign it exclusively to whomever they wish
Then Allah reminded them by the punishment that had done to Noah and pharaoh; and promised them that they will be badly defeated soon. Allah's promise happened at the Day of Badr where 300 Muslims were the victor over more than 1000 of the disbelievers!
------------
N.B.: It is interesting to note that the modern scholars repeat the same saying of the ignorant Arabs that dated more than 1400 years ago. Nay, but they have not yet tasted the punishment, and if they were to taste it, they would certainly have another saying when it would be late!
