Today life is so competitive that parents are thinking to giving birth to one the most two children. Most fathers work in two jobs, woman are chasing after careers like never before in the past, trying to meet today’s demands and luxury that media is passing subconsciously to peoples minds, but what all these leaves to the kids? What happens to a kid growing up in a home that hardly sees his or her parents during the day? How will this child turn up to be as an adult?



Spending time with your child is something very rare now days, a lot of people place work first and growing up their children comes far second in a family. Of course you can say if you can’t be a breadwinner how can you feed your child? Fair enough argument but let me answer this question by redirecting you some facts. In the 70"s and the 80:s unemployment was higher and job opportunities were much less, today everyone can find to work somewhere, wages and salaries are much higher but still in the past decades most parents had time to spend it with their family. Demands are much greater people say, growing a child costs a fortune, but think of it the other way, what is more important to your kids? Wearing the latest la pen baby set or dressing the inner side of the child with love, support and education, qualities that parents and only parents can endow to their kids.

So what are these kids are missing out?

1) The miss out on a role model which at a later age they will find it in a rock star, a video game star, a cool dude who’s involved in drugs, gangs and in illegal activities.

How many kids today do you hear say my role model is my father or my mother?

2) Communication and communication skills. If a kid is stuck up in front of the stupid box all day playing with the remote control since the time they learned how to use it, one thing is for sure the kid will not watch an educational program but the latest rap video and memorize all the swearing words.

3) Protection. Do you think your baby sitter or the day care center really cares about your child or the other 100 children they are assigned to? Everyday there are thousands of cases about abused kids and kid abductions.

4) Creating imaginational skills. Today’s society is hypnotizing the kids so that will not have a mind of their own, not letting work their imagination, mould today’s children into the perfect tomorrows adult robots.

5) Proper education. Of course you can say “but I trust our educational system", but have you seen what happens in the toilets or in the school playgrounds in the lunch time? Let your child trust you in his or her world so you can guide them.

6) Love. Maybe this is the most important thing in the world, what separates a human from a human being. Give you kid love so it will give you love in your dark times, teach your kids love so the will give love their kids and spouses later on instead of beating their children and calling their wives whore. Love is what distinguishing a happy person, a successful person, a complete person.

And what are you Parent miss out?

1) The opportunity to create and mould and grow the most perfect and valuable aspect of nature.

2) Your little person looking at you like you are everything to him or her.

3) Love, care and support when you will need it the most, only your own blood can provide it to you when you will most need it, and there will be a time when you will need it.

4) Being proud when you see a person in this society that is successful beloved, educated and happy, and the most important is that he or she will be thanking you for everything, he or she has become. Amazing feeling.

5) A smiling face that fills you with unlimited happiness and reminds you of your spouse that you love, I wouldn’t miss that for a day, especially for not some extra crappy bucks or a stupid business trip.

So the bottom line is spend time with your kids, watch them grow up, be a part of their life, guide them and show them the right path.

These are the factors in today’s society that many parents have forgotten or ignore.

I wouldn’t miss them nor for a billion dollars not for the world.
