Such life changes include losing weight and ending smoking habits. Getting fit and kicking the habit are both two proven snoring cures, although they work for different reasons. When you're overweight, excess fat can gather around your neck and put pressure on your throat. This causes snoring, and when you work off the fat the snoring can be put to an end. When you smoke, your throat muscles weaken and mucus can accumulate. If you can manage to stop smoking, you will probably see a reduction in snoring. Of course, reducing snoring isn't the best benefit of quitting smoking. You'll drastically reduce your chances of getting cancer, your heart will be healthier and your lungs will no longer be black.
