Solar Mysteries - Evidence Of Recent Catastrophism

    View:
An old controversy has 'flared up' among scientists who are still trying to explain the high temperature of the Sun's corona. The problem is that the temperature of the thin outer atmosphere of the Sun (the corona) is as high as 2 million degrees F while the surface (photosphere) is only 10,000 F and the region immediately above, (the chromosphere) is only 20,000 F. Actually this mystery is closely associated with the origin of sunspots, which is, believe it or not, also a mystery to astrophysicists.

The failure of academic science to explain these mysteries and many others in our solar system, stems from their 'grand assumption' or paradigm known as uniformitarianism - the notion that because the solar system is now quiescent, that it has always been so. But there is overwhelming evidence in ancient texts composed during the Bronze and Iron Ages that planetary chaos characterized the solar system for 3000 years and in fact produced the system we observe today.

In the process of rearranging the planets and their orbits to those we observe today, millions of smaller bodies were blasted into the solar system. Some of these are known to science, such as main belt and near earth asteroids, comets and meteorites, and the regolith that covers the near side of the Moon and surface of Mercury, but their origins are not understood. But in addition to these known bodies, innumerable smaller bodies were ejected into highly eccentric orbits around the Sun and these produce a number of unexplained phenomena.

Hot spots in the solar coronaAs their orbits decay these bodies fall closer and closer to the Sun. The smaller ones fall into the outer atmosphere, or corona, of the Sun and burn up. It is the conversion of the kinetic energy of these bodies to heat that produces the high temperatures in the corona, about which the recent controversy swirls. The uneven distribution of the high temperatures in the corona is a 'dead give-a-way.' The temperature varies in a chaotic way from point to point, i.e. it is not 'thermal.' As a result, scientists have attempted to explain the 'hot spots' as energy from specific areas on, or within, the Sun shooting energy upwards in some invisible form, such as magnetic fields, that does not increase the temperature of the intermediate chromosphere.

Because of their bias toward uniformitarianism astrophysicists just cannot imagine the existence of the vast numbers of bodies which would be required, on a day by day basis, to maintain the high temperature spots in the corona. This would require that the causitive catastrophism be have been relatively recent, because no matter how many bodies there are, they would eventually become depleted and the mysteries will cease.

The situation is quite similar with regard to sunspots. Astrophysicists actually believe that they are the result of magnetic field 'events' within the Sun. This in spite of the fact that the material within the spots has been measured to be moving downward at velocities of 3000 mph, is much cooler than the surrounding area, and contain large amounts of water. The sunspots are due to larger bodies, produced by the recent planetary chaos, which make it through the corona and impact the surface of the Sun. Their impacts splash material from the surface of the Sun which comprise solar flares and Coronal Mass Expulsions (CMEs), waves of charged particles that often hit the Earth affecting our climate and power grids.

Believe it or not, there is a third way that the debris from the recent catastrophism has confused astrophysicists. Because they do not understand the continual flux of material falling into the solar atmosphere from the recent catastrophism, they believe that the absorption spectra of the solar atmosphere represents the makeup of the Sun itself. Moreover, the fact that the elemental abundances determined in this way match those of the carbonaceous chondrites, the most common type of meteorite, has led to the idea that this class of meteorites are primordial, i.e. the stuff from which the Earth accreted. In fact, the spectra of both are due to the ubiquitous carbonaceous chondrites distributed throughout the inner solar system by recent catastrophic events. So the failure to recognize the recent catastrophism has resulted in a number of errors, not only with regard to the Sun but also the origin of the Earth.

These mysterious observations, and many more, are evidence of the extent and the recentness of the solar system catastrophism which ended only about 2,500 years ago.
