When you first lay eyes on the Sony Ericsson W705 it will blow you away. It is incredibly aesthetically pleasing to the eye, especially in terms of the colour. You have the choice of Luxury Silver and Passionate Red, both of which are stylish, sophisticated and very sexy. It is compact and very easy to hold, which might come as a surprise to you when you find out exactly what level of features is crammed into it!

The aesthetic appeal of the Sony Ericsson W705 lies in the fact that it is practical, well built and accommodating but is simply gorgeous because of the screen. The huge TFT 320x240 resolution screen does dominate the handset and the navigation buttons that are located directly below it contrast well. The buttons are sturdy but functional without being too sensitive. The menus are also easy to navigate around but you absolutely must look at the features a little more closely to fully appreciate the Sony Ericsson W705 in all its glory!

As a Walkman phone, the Sony Ericsson W705's first focus is the music capabilities? and a quick look at the size of the phone will not prepare you for how much is packed into it. Sony Ericsson always seems to go one better every single time they release a new phone and this handset is no different. The technology is second to none. In addition to the usual features like TrackID and SensMe, you can also take full advantage of the Clear Bass and Clear Stereo features that your provide your music with a much clearer and defined beat. The crowning glory is the Shake Control feature though. This new feature allows you to change the track at will. All you have to do is shake the handset and the track moves on!

There are some other lovely features, such as the 120MB inbuilt memory that can be supplemented by a MicroSD memory card. The connectivity is also amazing with USB, Wi-Fi, EDGE, HSPA, WAP 2.0 and Bluetooth, to name just a few. The final lovely touch is the presence of a 3.2MP camera with 3x digital zoom, PhotoFix, Photo Blogging and all the other usual features pioneered by Sony. As you can see, the Sony Ericsson W705 seems to have it all.

The only possible negative element of the Sony Ericsson W705 that can be found is the fact that it does so much that it might be a little complex for some people to use. Aside from that, it is as close to the perfect handset as you will get. If a handset has a 3.2MP camera and that is the secondary feature then it says it all.
