Spreading The Word With Promotional Pens

So you are about to introduce a new product or brand name, and need a way to quickly and effectively create brand recognition in the marketplace. Unfortunately the ad agency just told you that a nationwide television campaign is not in your budget and for that matter neither are they. What is the small businessperson to do? Turn to promotional pens of course!



Promotional pens have all the qualities you want in an advertising medium, they are first and foremost inexpensive, they are useful, they easily pass among people, and they are subtle enough to get the message across without being so glaringly obvious that people ignore it out of spite. They are simple, effective and very practical, so practical that there are very few people that will not pick up and use a promo pen if they get the chance. Everyone loves free things, especially ones they can use over and over again. And the beautiful thing is that they don’t even realize that every time they use the pen your brand or company name is being solidified in their minds as a powerful option.

So now that you understand why you should choose promotional pens as a way to spread brand recognition, lets explore how to best go about using them to introduce your company or product to potential customers. First and for most identify who your ideal customers are, this should have already been done before you even started production so we will gloss over this one. Next identify where these people are likely to congregate.

If you are looking towards targeting young people then college campuses and nightclubs would make the ideal place to push promotional pens. For an older crowd, good luck, their habits are harder to track than young people, and you may have to resort to scouting where the competition is targeting. However doctors offices and supermarkets are always a safe bet when looking for places to leave promotional pens.
