City palace is a monument with a blend of Rajput and mughal architecture. It is a seven storied palace with each floor having a different name according to the purpose for which it was built. Paintings, mirror wok, weapons and vessels of the Rajput kings are preserved here. It has two parts, the Chandra mahal and the Mubarak mahal. Successors of the royal family still live in the Chandra mahal allowing visitors to see the ground floor of it.

Laxmi Narayan Temple built by the Birla family is the temple of lord Vishnu and Godess Laxmi. It is made of fine marble and makes a major tourist attraction. It located at the foot of the Dongri fort. Another place to visit in Jaipur is the Chokhi Dhani which is a five star village resort. It provides the traditional hut like cottages and creats an aura of the ancient rajasthani culture. The walls are decorated with beautiful rajasthani murals and the food is served in the traditional style.
