No longer are the days, when the internet was in it's youth and competition was scarce. You will need a plan of action to set your home business above the other guy's! But just how do you design this plan of action to help your business start out smoothly?



I have been earning a nice living online for the past several years now, but not without bump's, bruises and road blocks along the way. In order to avoid these issues that I experienced, you must first sit down with a pen and paper and outline your business start up to make it as smooth as possible and make it profitable "right off the bat".

The first thing to consider is what your website will promote or sell. Are the products or programs "Top Notch"? If not you will have alot of angry customers along the way and this is no way to build a home based business. There are million's of affiliate products and programs that you could promote,but I strongly suggest that you take some time to research and evaluate which ones are worthwhile to your customers.

Your next step to consider should be your website design. Make sure that your visitors can find what they are looking for without having to jump through hoops, otherwise they will leave your home based business website faster than they arrived and you will lose sales.

Sometimes we use templates that restrict our creativity when designing our sites. You must still try and make your site accesible to your customers, simple is best. Avoid using flash templates as potential customers get tired of waiting for your business website to load and leave only to purchase from your competetitors. Use simple text links and thumbnails, clean up your menu so they can zero in on what they are looking for.

Make it as easy as possible for your visitors to buy from your website!

How will you capture visitors emails, in case they did not purchase from your website. It is a proven fact that most potential customers will need to see your products or services that you are promoting several times before they will purchase from you. So what autoresponder service will you use and how will you implement it into your home based business website...Pop-Up's or a Form?

Now that you have your website in order and ready to make sales for you, just how are you going to drive traffic to it? Traffic is vital. Generate targeted traffic on a consistant and you will make money consistantly. It's a proven fact of marketing online. Just how will you generate traffic consistanlty? Pay Per Click, Traffic Exchanges, Press Releases, Article Marketing or Search Engine Optimiztion?

In what order will you use these types of marketing? This is an extremely important step in making your home based business a success right away!

#2 Start submitting your link to link directories, The search engines will love your site if they find that it is linked to from these authority sites.

#3 Get over your fear of writting articles and start submitting articles everyday to as many High Pr Article Directories as you can. There are many services and software that automate the whole process for you!

#4 Start a weekly Ezine or Newsletter and integrate it into your Autoresponder. Work very hard at marketing your newsletter and your home based business website in order to grow your subscriber list. Every subscriber on your list should be worth $1 monthly for you. A list of 10,000 devoted readers will grow your income to $10,000 monthly!

Following these steps in an outlined business plan will help your business start out fast and grow quickly!
