However easy and common is the gall bladder surgery, risks are involved as well. Side effects and complications can occur after or during gall bladder surgery. Side effects of a gall bladder surgery are mostly mild and of short duration. However, they do exist. The good news is that they can be treated with drugs. The most common side effect of a gall bladder surgery is a general sickness feeling that is mostly caused by the anaesthetic that you have been injected with. - too much bleeding;

- blood clots, mostly in a vein that is found in your leg;

These complications may happen when you are having an open gall bladder surgery as well as a laparoscopy. Jaundice, damage to the surrounding organs or some of the blood vessels can also happen if having a gall bladder procedure.
