You've heard about teak wood. You have seen friends who have teak and have seen the striking grains in the wood that make each piece unique. Now you want some too. Both patters are very attractive. It's just a matter of preference.

If you don't want the color to change, that means a little more maintenance on your part. Your need to regularly use teak oil on the wood to keep it refreshed and help it retain that color. When you look to buy the product to do this job, you need to make sure you have the right thing. The oil you want is the kind boaters use, to keep their ship in good shape. If you can, contact a marine supply shop and ask them for a bottle of the teak oil that helps to preserve the wood. They will know what you are talking about and make sure you get the right thing.
