The Book On Leadership
The social service agency that my husband works for lately elevated him to a post of a supervisor. He constantly strives for perfection and always gives his 100 percent in what ever he does. I thought of giving him something for the promotion and came to the conclusion that an article on leadership would be perfect to help him with his new responsibilities. I knew that he would love an article on leadership, and thus was searching for one that had hi values and work ethic embedded in them.
It is not too difficult to find an article on leadership as there is large pool to choose from. There was one article on leadership that caught my eye; it was in put in black and white by some of the most successful leaders present in the current business world. They had stated all those factors they thought were crucial for a good leader to posses.
The article on leadership emphasized the importance of the fact that a leader is someone who the others would want to follow. You might find this business related site useful . A positive and pleasant attitude is something that the people look for. Although the attitude to obtain perfection acts as a hindrance in how other people judge him, I still feel that my husband possess these attributes. This situation is taken care of well in the article on leadership.
After creating a copy of the article on leadership, I noted down the key points on a different sheet of paper. I then made my way to the local copy shop to find out if they could transfer the points on to a poster board. The proprietor of the copy shop and I looked up the article on leadership to confirm if we were not violating any copy write laws.
This article on leadership mentioned that you were permitted to use or reuse a part of or the entire article. After which I got down to making the poster that I had initially intended to. I choose a paper that would go well with the frame and matting that I had purchased. After the poster work was done it became a wonderful add-on to my husband’s new office.
My husband appreciated the gift a lot. Not only did it provide him with valuable points on leadership but also acted as a great wall hanging for his office. He got so enticed by the key points that wanted to read the entire original article on leadership. Thus in turn he was led to another article on leadership which provided him with more information.
My husband will turn out to be a great supervisor because of the things he had read and also because he continuously keeps applying whatever knowledge he has gained in his career and thus others will want to follow him.
