Lyon was selected to face FC Barcelona in the first knock-out stage. The first leg at Lyon ended with a 1-1 draw with Henry scoring for Barca. In the return leg Barca thrashed Lyon 5-2, with two goals from Henry and one each from Messi, Eto and Keita. FC Barcelona got a tricky quarter final draw with a visit to Bayern in the second leg. But Barca destroyed Bayern 4-0 at Camp Nou with all the goals coming in the first half. Messi scored twice and Eto and Henry scored once for Barca.
