Perhaps one of the most successful and known celebrity chefs and restaurateurs, Wolfgang Puck, owns several restaurants in and around the Los Angeles area. His Los Angeles restaurant opened after he wrote his first book in 1981.

Pucks career has branched beyond his culinary expertise as he has truly become a celebrity and pop culture icon within the food and restaurant world. Beyond his Los Angeles Restaurants, Puck has made cameos in films and taken part several times in Food Television programming, guest appearances and segments. It could be that Pucks celebrity is due to the fact that he was one of the original restaurant owners to put Hollywood and Los Angeles on the culinary map creating menus, including online menus available to anyone with access to the internet. Now Puck is not only a celebrity in his own right for the Los Angeles restaurants movement, but year after year he is caterer to the stars in Hollywood related awards shows like the Academy Awards Governors Ball.
