It doesn't seem so long ago when I first tried my hand at Internet Marketing. I was full of hope and great expectations and naively thought that it was a simple process to actually get your site seen and even sell your goods. What a fool I was. Maybe not the correct termination but a few years down the line it certainly feels foolish.
Well foolish or not I spent countless hours and rather large amounts of cash trying to reach my goal. At first it did not even occur to me that I was spending more than I could have made with the product I was promoting. I was far too involved and basically I was in love with my beautiful new site and my mind was racing with the prospect of finally being able to work from the comfort of my own home.
I tried everything and bought every program I could get my hands on because I was going to make it and nothing was going to stand in my way. I thought look out Internet Mike Collins is coming so make room or face being forcibly pushed to one side. How naive is that.
I spent thousands on adwords, adsense, blog submitters, ffa submitters, programs for this programs for that. You name it I tried it. The thing is it becomes a vicious circle and a very vicious one at that. In my mind was the prospect and the vision of online success and even though my bank account told me enough was enough I just could not give up on my dream. You know the dream I speak of. Escape from the daily grind and finally discover the joy of financial independence.
I wasn't under the illusion that I was going to become a millionaire overnight or in the very near future. But it was always in the back of my mind that one day I would actually make it and finally be able to give up the back breaking manual job I have to do week in and week out.
I must have spent easily 40 or 50 hours every week trying to promote my site. I even at the advice of a so called Guru who shall remain anonymous set up my own review site and reviewed my own products. Now thats sad. Hoping to get up there with the big boys. But all to no avail.
I don't know about you but my in box is always full of the latest greatest breakthrough thats going to earn me a fortune and allow me to stop the manual work and laze about on the beach and play golf. I wouldn't mind but I don't even like golf. But no matter how many times you've been stung ripped off or whatever you might call it you always have this niggling feeling that this program might just be the one that will do it for you.
And what do you do yeah of course you buy it. I have often wondered why every program seems to cost $197.00. Is this some magical figure that supposedly makes people think ah this is not too cheap to be considered rubbish and it hasn't broken what must be some invisible barrier that of $200.00 so it s affordable.
I finally came to the conclusion that if ever I am going to make any money online I am going to do it off my own back. So I set about devising my very own system that and I'm not ashamed to say will make me some money but above all will give everyone whatever they are promoting an equal chance of actually making some money online. And do you want to know something. I am not selling it I am giving everyone the chance to use it for a limited period totally free.
Now theres a word that has long since been buried in the Gurus vocabulary. Free. It must be some kind of Internet swear word. The curse of the Internet. Something for nothing. Its surprising that we must have been conditioned to being ripped off because you mention the word Free and everyone seems to run a mile thinking this cant be right nothing in this world is free. Well this is at least for the first eight times you choose to use it after that its up to you.
But before I leave you I will just let you know that no matter what size your advertising budget is it wont give you any advantage. Money doesn't speak loudly with me. This may seem a little strange in todays world of Rip Off Thy Neighbor but I am genuinely interested in helping you and anyone you know who is struggling to actually really make a living online and if you want to play golf then thats up to you.
The Level Playing Field
The United States is well known as a land of opportunity and as a result people from all over the world flock to its shores. However there exists here a class of people who are, sadly, ignored or forgotten. They are typically referred to as inner-city or underprivileged children. Unfortunately this label has almost become a stigmatism instead of a reminder that there are a number of people who need help to attain a more satisfying standard of living. Many of these young people are aware that attending a four year college or university would be a great way to lift them up from poverty. But, as the old saying goes, "It takes money to make money." If you are already poor how can you afford to pay for the astronomical cost of obtaining a college degree? And if you cannot afford to pay for the degree how can you get a well-paying job? These are questions that the disadvantaged regularly have to grapple with and few are finding any worthy answers.
One excellent answer is online career training. Career training is a much more affordable alternative to an expensive college degree. It is training that provides specific yet comprehensive knowledge and skills to a student. All that is needed is a computer and internet access. From there it is up to the student to decide which course or subject matter is most interesting and then enroll. There is no need to drive to a campus and wait in long registration lines. Instead enrollment in a career training course can be done in the privacy of your own home right over the internet. Once your enrollment is accepted your training can begin immediately. Career training allows students to work at an individual pace, thereby getting the most benefit from the training. Upon completion of the training the student is fully prepared to enter the work force and earn a great salary. Since career training is so affordable the student will not be burdened with a lot of debt. In fact the training can be paid in full before the course has been completed. There will not be any huge student loans to pay since career training is much less expensive than a standard university education.
According to the U.S. Department of education, over 80 percent of the fastest-growing jobs require at least some postsecondary education. Career training can provide that necessary additional education. So if you or someone you know needs a helping hand why not look into career training and take advantage of living in the land of opportunity.
