You can also use postcards like you would use flyers. You can put a well-designed postcard up on a bulletin board or even hand them out on the street. Postcards are often printed on better paper than flyers and give you a stronger visual motif to use, which will increase the odds of people looking at them.

Keep a stack of postcards in your office for people to take with them. Put basic themes and other things your company promotes on the front of the card with colorful wording an wonderful images. The strength of a postcard is the amount of ways you have to give them to people, the ease of use due to the small size, and the potential for wonderful images.

All of the things that make postcards so effective for direct mailing can be put to good use in other areas if you just get a little creative with them. Given the quality of the paper you typically print postcards on, you have a lot more potential for better images that will ensure you're able to hand people a great looking advertisement.

It should also be noted that the cost of postcard printing is cheap enough as well that it offers that extra incentive to make the most of them. If you've only been sending your postcards through the mail, you're missing out on all of the possibilities.
