The Nasty Price Of Riches

    View:
The problem of money and spirituality is not new. There is nothing wrong with earning large sums of money. What matters is how you earn it and what you do with it after you have received it. You need not apologize for earning your daily bread, even large bushels of it, for any sort of labor you do which contributes something to the world, on any level.

However, the only problem with being rich or earning lots of money is the fact that inequality triggers many risks to everybody.

In fact, inequality is the greatest price the people have to pay because there are people who really are getting rich.

Why is it so?

Because in this world were material things are needed to survive and where money makes the world go round, people can never achieve equality as long as there are people who become rich and yet they do not know how to use their riches properly.

Take for example the concept of science and technology. In today's fast changing world, the advent of new technologies give potential advancements only to people who can afford them. This goes to show that technology is not for everybody.

Just think about it. Why is there such a thing as first world countries, or third world countries? Is it just plain classification or one way of discrimination?

If you are to analyze the situation, what is it with these countries that they are classified into first and third world countries? It is with their level of technological advancement, right? Or should I say based on their potential to generate wealth?

In reality, being rich is not wrong but the fact that these riches are not equally shared to everybody is something that the society cannot accept.

Of course, most people would not want to share their riches to people who have not equally worked hard the same way they do. But the problem lays on the fact that technology and other forms of life enhancements are only available to people who can truly afford them.

So, in order to eliminate inequality, why not make those high-tech gadgets and devices available to everybody. Why not make education easily accessible for everyone?

One of the nasty prices of riches is the fact that education, which should have been a right, is actually a privilege nowadays, in which only a few of the total population of the human race are able to afford it.

So, the solution to this growing problem now lies on the fact that inequality must be stopped. People should learn that being rich is not a matter of who has more money on their pocket but more on who can give more money to the others.

As mentioned, there is nothing wrong to being rich. As long as you cheerfully and willingly give away half of what you have to those less fortunate, you need not be ashamed to be a millionaire, or even billionaire, because you have let go half, thereby allowing the ?money energy? to circulate.

In reality, money is not evil. Only the use of it and the means of gaining it can cause it to be.

Hence, in order to get rid of inequality, which is the nasty price of riches, the rich should learn to share whatever is surplus.

This universal law of money may bring a few shudders to stockbrokers, bankers, and insurance companies, but it need not. When the initial shock wears off, stockbrokers will realize that investments in new companies and corporations may not meet the spiritual requirements met by giving, but does meet the universal law of money requirement by circulating the money energy into the world.

Consequently, what people usually do with their personal funds can then follow the circulation law, plus the booster law of giving.

As for insurance companies and salespersons, they can ease their trembles by knowing that reasonable insurance for families and people who are ill to work is certainly acceptable. It is the large fortunes in insurance that break the laws of money, causing relatives to wish for the insured one's death, to fight shamefully among themselves?and too often even lead to murder.

The bottom line is that in order to rid the nasty price of riches, people should learn to let go of money. In this way, survival is no longer a necessity but a thing of the past, because with equality, people will learn to live life to the fullest, with no price to pay.
