If you look over the internet for colloidal silver solution, you will see that many people very enthusiastically endorse it, whilst others warn about using it too much. Overuse of colloidal silver solution can lead to argyria, a very rare condition caused by silver particles collecting under the skin and turning the skin blue in colour. If you go to Google and type in ?Argyria?, you will see some dramatic photos of this condition.



Firstly, why do people take colloidal silver solution? Colloidal silver has the scientifically proven ability to effectively kill pathogenic bacteria, viruses, moulds and yeasts inside our bodies. Furthermore, pathogens cannot mutate against colloidal silver, like they can with many modern antibiotics.

So what are the chances of overdosing and turning blue (could have dramatic effect on your social life!). To put things into perspective; we need water to live, but if have too much we can drown. Most recent cases of argyria are due to consumption of home-made colloidal silver solutions, and almost all of these cases, in turn, involved production techniques which are generally considered incorrect by modern colloidal silver solution producers. Home made colloidal silver solutions can typically range from 300 to 3,000 parts per million (ppm).

However, modern colloidal silver solutions with tiny nano-particles can be as low as just 14 ppm. At these low concentrations, being afflicted with argyria is not possible. Furthermore, the tiny particle leave the body more readily than do the large home made particles.

But despite the low concentrations, the modern colloidal silver solution is more effective at killing pathogens then the home made high concentration colloidal silver solutions.

How? Well one reason is that modern technology can create tiny silver nano-particles that are small enough to enter a red blood cell and travel to any infection site anywhere in the body. New colloidal silver solution technology kills or neutralises pathogens in 4 ways:

1. Chemical structure / contact: The silver particles are made up of silver atoms, which in turn are made up of protons (positively charged) and electrons (negatively charged). Normally an atom has an equal number of protons and electrons giving it a balanced neutral electrical charge. However, the new colloidal silver solution technology literally rips off 2 electrons from the silver atom, turning then into a +2 positively charged atom (otherwise known as an ion). When close to a pathogen, the silver ion will attract electrons from the pathogens thin cell membrane, thus rupturing the membrane and killing pathogen.

2. Resonance: Everything has a specific frequency at which it vibrates naturally (called resonance). Some frequencies can be health inducing whilst others can be destructive (like listening to a calming piece of music or a road drill). Like us, pathogens have their own specific resonance frequency. The nano particles in the latest colloidal silver solution, resonate at 890 to 910 terahertz, which is the same frequency that germicidal ultra-violet lights in many hospitals resonate at.

3. Magnetic Disruption of Viral DNA: Viruses multiply by injecting abnormal/incomplete DNA into healthy cells, damaging the healthy DNA and inducing them to reproduce abnormally. To do this the viral DNA needs to be able to straighten out. However, the viral DNA carries a small magnetic charge which is attracted to the +2 charged colloidal silver solution particles (ion), which tie up the abnormal viral DNA. As such the viral DNA is unable to straighten out, hence it can never replicate.

4. Cellular Communication: Most cells have a sugar coating used in cellular communications that determines intercellular activity.
