Cystic acne is also referred as nodulocystic acne, in it the cysts are filled with pus and are painful then the usual acne or other skin disorders. Acne cysts are unlike any other skin disorder in another sense as well as they are nodules of inflammation this is very rarely the case in other acne.



Cystic acne like other forms of acne is caused by an excess increase of sebum in the pores. These cysts are usually several centimeters in diameter, and can be quite painful.
