Technology has come a long way and now it is moving in the direction of everything digital, the digital era is here. Don’t get me wrong, even if I’m not an avid reader, but I do read a fair share of books during my free time and I do appreciate books, especially hard covered ones which are higher quality and definitely a keeper. But eBooks definitely have some qualities and benefits that are just as good as traditional books, if not better.



For instance, eBooks are quicker to obtain. You never need to drive out to a bookstore or even wait 28 days for shipment. Once the payment is made, your eBook is ready to be downloaded to your own personal pc within minutes.

There are other benefits buying eBooks, you usually get more than just the book itself. If you are lucky you may even find websites which offers eBooks with extra additional bonuses. These bonuses could include extra additional books for free, audio books, cheaper discounts and so much more.

eBooks is still the way to go, even if you insist reading on a paperback. Personal computers are all equipped with great graphics and great photo resolutions, which means you can re-print you eBooks from you computer with original quality. Never again you need to compromise on poor quality photocopy. In a recent study, most kids nowadays can’t really focus if the textbooks are all filled black and white with words, short to say it turn them off to study. However eBooks on the other hand takes on a different approach, colorful pictures, animations, and audio visuals are all input to help kids absorb more information and increase their creativity and imaginations which is vital during their age.

Depending on the market, if the need is too low for a certain book, local publisher may not even publish the books. On the other hand it is a different case for eBooks, not only you can easily get it through the internet, the price could be far cheaper (or free for download) compare to the books on retail

Just think about it, buying eBooks not only saves on your wallet since there is no shipping cost thus making it cheaper, but it saves on trees too. Think of the trees that are cut down and mass produce into books and other wood related products. I say eBooks are definitely here to stay and very soon it will be replacing traditional books.
