Microscope is an instrument which helps you to view small and tiny particles that we are unable to see through our naked eyes. it is an internal scientific arrangement of lenses which helps you to see minute organisms like bacteria and viruses by magnifying it a hundred times than its original size and the process by which we study these tiny particles is called Microscopy. The two main types of electron microscopes are T.E.M-Transmission Electron Microscope and S.E.M-Scanning Electron Microscope. In both the microscopes a ray of electrons is focused on the specimen to be observed. T.E.M is generally used for scientific studies and research. Transmission Electron Microscope transmits a ray of free electrons through the specimen and Scanning Electron Microscope scans the specimen with the ray of free electrons and reflects them off the specimen.

Some advantages of Electron Microscopes are that these microscopes have highest magnifying capacity and exceptionally superior microscopic imaging resolution. The Scanning Electron Microscope is better than the Transmission Electron Microscope as S.E.M. can analyze anything like insects, crystals, biological tissues, blood samples, blood cells and a lot more specimens that are not too thin. But however you need to coat the specimen that is to be viewed through S.E.M.
