Tips For Slimming Down For Summer

The weight loss industry is one of the major industries around today. With thousands to millions of people worldwide trying to lose those extra few pounds to even a few stones for their summer vacation when they are laying on the beach or for the holiday season when they will be visiting family and friends and want to look their best.



The industry alone is a billion dollar industry with many programs, products, books and courses that are said to help in a whole host of weird and wonderful ways.

In my private Hypnotherapy practice here in Oxfordshire, UK, I see hundreds of people each and every year that for many different reasons what to shed a few pounds and feel better about the way that they look. During their journey with me I use Hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

The most unique and thus successful part of my treatment is that all my clients learn Self Hypnosis. This gives them the tools to be able to build the life of their dreams long after their sessions with me. This makes the whole program more successful as in 2, 4... even 10 years time they may find themselves gaining a few pounds here and there. If this occurs, because of the Self Hypnosis, they are more than qualified to be able to deal with the situation themselves, rather than having to seek professional help.

During my weight loss program I give my clients loads of tips on losing weight and eating healthily. I want to share a few of these tips here with you in this article today.

If you have a lot of weight to lose then I would recommend that you seek professional advice, however putting the following tips into play will certainly put you on the right track for success!

1.Regulate your meal times. Pick times throughout the day when you can sit down and actually enjoy your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Stick to these this to allow your body to pick up on the times and allow it to get used to processing food at these times.

2.Get in the habit of eating healthily on a daily basis. Eat loads of fresh fruit and vegetables throughout the day. This is certainly going to help with your cravings for junk food and just after a few days you will be feeling much healthier and fitter.

3.Take a walk each and every day! You can start with 15 minutes and then building to 45 minutes and then an hour an a half! You will be amazed just how quickly you will see results - not just in your weight loss, but your overall sense of well-being. Regular exercise limits stress and anxiety and there is also the bonus that you could walk in some really beautiful places.
