Tips To Apply Makeup

    View:
For a special occasion, such as a wedding, Christmas party, New Year's party, or even a fun night out on the town, it's fashionable to match the tone of your party face to the outfit. For example, an outfit of jeans and a T-shirt often looks awkward with a face completely made up with lots of foundation, mascara and bright red lipstick. However, a sparkly formal dress will look great with this makeup combination.

Preparing the skin for make-up is essential. You need to really cleanse tone and moisturise first. For me, it's all about the basics - if your foundation is flawless the rest of the make-up will look far more professional. Avoid applying too much product; this can result in an uneven finish, which looks and feels heavy.

Single or married, youthful or sophisticated, women want ways in which to enjoy each other's company. It's simple. All you need is an evening of 2 hours, a professional make-up artist and a great group of foxy girlfriends and you're on your way! Learn how to apply gorgeous makeup with lots of helpful tips such as skincare and prep, concealer and foundation techniques, introduction to brushes and tools, smokey eyes and the best colours to suit your skin tone, charming cheeks, sexy lips, sculpting the perfect brow, applying false eyelashes and more! All this while enjoying drinks and a few giggles in a great party atmosphere.

No make-up look is complete without lip color. Lipstick, lip gloss or even just a slick of lip liner will balance heavy eye looks and give fokus to the face when you are using more neutral eye shades. For long lasting lipstick apply Vaseline, and then use a soft toothbrush to remove dead skin cells, brushing gently. Aplly your foundation as you normally would, making sure you lightly cover your lips too. Apply suitable colour of lip liner and then apply your lipstick with a lip brush, blending from the middle down to the corners of the mouth.

You can apply metallic eye shadow over your entire eyelid for a real head turning look. Or you could use a more neutral shade like peach, brown or lilac, but highlight the inner corner of the eye by lining it with a silver or gold eye pencil. The lash out with black mascara. If you like, you could even attach crystals to your eye lashes, with false lash glue. Or you could use metallic mascara for gorgeous, magical lashes. Finally, take a large powder brush and lightly dust shimmer powder over your cheekbones, your forehead, nose and chin.

Disco night makeover start the evening with a bit of sparkle, perfect for birthdays, special occasions. Look like a movie star when you step out of your limo on your way to Ladies Night at the Races.

Spangles are one of the hottest items cosseted by party girls. Well-fitting one-piece dresses decorated with spangles will go well at the party. Wearing a black or white coat is recommended.

Moisturizing is the key to successfully applying makeup for any occasion. Make it a point to moisturize in the weeks prior to prom so your skin will be primed for application. Moisturized skin will serve and a base for your makeup and will prevent things like caked or flakey foundation allowing for a more even appearance.
Tips To Apply Makeup
The undereye area is so tender; placing concealer on it has to be done ever so delicately. First, chose the shade of your concealer carefully: For pale skin, use a light beige with yellow undertones. For olive skin, use a medium beige with pink undertones. And for darker skin, use a medium to medium-dark shade with peach undertones.

Concealer is one of the most important products in any woman's beauty arsenal. In fact, many beauty editors use concealer primarily and skip the foundation completely. Yet many women are afraid of concealers because they don't know how to find the right shade or apply it properly. Here we show you how to apply concealer.

Liquid

Liquid concealers are used mostly for covering undereye circles. Simply put three tiny dots of the product on your undereye area, pat with your index finger until the concealer is well blended. Apply a light layer of powder to set the concealer or skip this step entirely if you have extremely dry skin.

Cream/Stick

Cream and stick concealers are best for covering undereye circles, undereye bags, zits, freckles and moles.

You should apply the concealer in the inner corners of the nose by the eyes and the dark areas under the eyes. To give a perfect look to your skin gently pat the concealer on with your fingertips and then cover the entire under-eye area and outside area of the eyes.

A concealer with a high pigment level and having mineral oil as its contents is best for masquerading purposes as it covers the spot better and stays on the top of the face for more time. It is best to monitor whether a concealer matches your skin or not in sunlight for correct estimations.

Whether you are fair or dark, your concealer should also have yellow tones.Don't use a concealer that's white or more than half a shade lighter than your skin tone. Try for an exact match. Apply before foundation. Set the concealer with powder.

In applying concealers , using the right makeup techniques is important. Concealers are of a denser composition than regular foundations and are generally available in sticks, tubes, pots, and creams. Concealers can be used to cover blemishes, dark spots, ruddy areas, marks, veins, freckles or under eye circles.

Put a small amount on your fourth fingertip and dot it on, moving from the outside corner of the eye inward, and back out again. The most important and easily overlooked place to put concealer is the inner corner of your top lid. Put a bit slightly below your dark circles to avoid the raccoon-like look.

Using a concealer that is too light or too pink will give the appearance of `owl eyes'. In other words, it will emphasize the dark area instead of concealing it. 4. Apply concealer with a small fine tipped brush for an accurate application. As with any other application, blending is the key.

Tools of the Trade

There are three basic tools to try when applying concealer. Try them all to see which give you the most natural results:

1.Your middle or ring finger

2.A wedge-shaped makeup sponge

3.A small, slightly pointed or square, nylon makeup brush
