Wanting to Lose Love Handles is a common goal for many people, but the majority that attempt it will fall short of their goals. Losing Love Handles is not easy; it takes time and commitment to see the result you want. However, for those that succeed, the lost love handles will mean a lot more energy, a better self image and overall better health. If you are frustrated by your quest to lose love handles, I have some tips for you!



1 - Diet

I know, I know... this word is almost like a bad word now! As much as it hurts to hear, a healthy diet is the first step to lose love handles. The most important thing to remember about your diet is to not bring in more calories than you burn. You don't have to rely on celery sticks and water... just switch to things such as whole grains, more fruits and vegetables and low fat dairy products. You will not even notice a difference in the food... until you notice those love handles shrinking!

2 - Exercise

Oh no, another four letter word! You do not have to go all out and hit the gym every day, you just need to get a little bit of exercise. A brisk walk around the neighborhood in the evening or simply getting on a treadmill for a little bit each day will get you started great. You can then progress to more from there. You will lose those love handles one step at a time and before you know it, they will be completely gone.

3 - Mindset

If you want to lose love handles, you have to get your head in the right spot. This can be the hardest part of it all, really. Your mind can go in any number of ways, but the most frequent things are that either you will have too high of expectations, or you have been burned by all these big promises from diets and program before and you will not have faith.

If you have too high of expectations, then you are more likely to give up when you are not seeing tons of weight drop and you don't lose love handles after just one day.

On the other side, if you are being a "Negative Nancy" and do not have faith, then you will see the results that you expect... which is nothing. That's why this is so tricky, I just said not too have too high of expectations, but don't set them too low either.
