Let's face it, you need to keep your blog fresh and regularly updated to maintain its readership! Therefore, you must always find fresh topics to write about, and we're going to discuss how to do just that in this article. After all, you are running a business (or investigating doing so) and want to make money online, right?
So, what is your passion? Writing about a topic that you feel passionate about and have a great deal of interest in is a great place to start. Remember, you are reading this right now because you have made a conscious choice to investigate new methods for income generation on the side. Or, you may have already made the decision to jump in and make money online as your career. The idea is to take advantage of the emotional drivers that brought you here in the first place. You've already chosen to incorporate the internet and blogging as key components of your career because you want to escape that mundane job where you are simply trading time for money.
Now, start writing about the experience of taking on this wonderful change in your life. It's really that simple. On the other hand, forcing yourself to write about something that you're not interested in is arguably worse than going to work at that mundane job. Nothing comes out, the page is blank...and maybe you'll just watch those American Idol reruns that you stored on Tivo...procrastination sets in. You need to write about what you know and share your experience.
The other reason I ask you to write about something you're passionate about is because your feelings and emotions will show through in your writing! If you feel indifferent to a certain subject but still write about it just for the sake of it, your readers will notice it. Remember the advice about writing with a personality? Forcing yourself to write will not establish a welcoming style at all.
Once you have chosen your main theme, start posting to your blog about it and make it a habit to post at least once every day or so, even if it's only a comment on the newspaper article you read today. Think about how you can tie events and experiences in your town/life back to your main theme and start writing. You are like one of those huge freight trains that take a lot of effort to get moving initially, but then you start going faster and faster. And, the nice thing is the momentum will pay dividends as you begin to make money online. Once you get this system going, it will take less effort than you think to maintain speed.
However, no matter how well you know your topic, your brain is bound to get exhausted at times, so here are methods to brainstorm content for your blog.
1) The very best way to brainstorm is to see what other bloggers currently have to say about stuff happening in your field of discussion. You can do this by typing in "blog search" in Google or by visiting Technorati online. There are other decent blog information sites, just look around. From other blogs, you can gather more knowledge on your subject and you can also comment on what others have to say on your own blog.
2) Once you've established contacts with other bloggers in your field, you'll have quite a conversation going on, so you won't need to actively search for content to write about as much. However, if you're still stuck, search for news articles related to your niche in the local newspaper or online through the news sites at Google and Yahoo.
3) You can also have conversations with people with the same interest as you in the particular niche you choose, so you will eventually build up a bank of questions and answers and interesting discussions to write about in your blog. To do this, join forums related to your niche, but don't join every forum there is out there. Stick with one or two with the biggest number of members or the one which is most focused on your niche. This will also come in handy much later in gaining traffic and generating profits.
4) Lastly, one of my favorites is to get involved in mind mapping. This is a tremendous way to get creative in a non-linear fashion with images that you create on line. Mind mapping can serve to aggregate your thoughts to produce an outline and content. Easier than you think, there are several free mind mapping programs you can download or establish a free account with online. Do a Google search on "free mind mapping" and you'll find it all.
Remember to keep up your momentum of posting at least once every couple of days (or more if you have a lot of content to write about) so that the major search engines will know that your blog has fresh content on a regular basis, thus gaining you extra traffic.
For now, remember to keep a consistent effort everyday and build your momentum. You are a huge freight train of creativity and ideas, let it out and you'll make money online on a consistent basis.
To Make Money Online Uk
There is the blog, waiting for you to make the right choice, to make money online. It can be a ride, putting together a profitable blog by writing every day. You need to write fast if you truly want to make money in the very beginning. Use that speed on your blog. This guide is more than a look at ways to make money online. You can earn a blogging income. You can make money online by writing. It's that simple. Let me tell you a story, of a blogging world where speed is crucial, where you can build an online career. Here are the steps.
Building Blogging Cash:
Smile at the blogging cash. It means you're a success. Speed blogging is its own definition of the way to build something. On the internet, speed wins over quality. Don't rush through everything, but you should consider speed building in the beginning. These steps can be looked at in various ways. It's more than just steps to make money online, because as we go forward, you will notice your own ideas being put together faster.
Speed Wins, Speed Earns:
You can learn this the easy way. Do that. Speed will win you over readers, because you will reach a larger audience. Speed wins because you will see more readers coming to read more posts on your blog. Speed means earning faster. Sound easy? It isn't. Consider it like a novel in the beginning: novels, in the first draft, are often races to the finish. The more you write, the more you uncover. Thoughts come fast. And keywords, which will be discussed later, come out of your typing naturally. You can edit forever, but the first draft is where the voice comes out.
Speed Means Writing:
Writing speed helps. There will be other assets to your speed blogging, but that is crucial to gaining a steady online income. Writing usually means a hidden structure. Structure helps you create more. Many books focus on structure as a means to writing more, and do so because speed is something all writers want. How do you get there? You get there by writing every day. The blog you started a month ago, maybe the one you forgot about, can help you make money online. Online income is big. But, I hear you saying, you have no time!
Earning Time, Earning Online Income:
Making money online is an odd way to say online income, but it seems to define the basics. Earning time is simple: you earn it by rewarding yourself, by making the right blogging choices. Sign up for a track counter on your blog, which allows you to see your visitor count. A good one to use is StatsCounter. This will show you what's popular on your blog, providing a page by page breakdown, and show you where to spend the majority of what time you have. Maybe now you will have a more focused goal for earning online income with a blog. Do you want it to be steady? Let's talk about structure.
Structure Works:
There is a hidden structure to every piece of good writing. A creative writer can put one and two together, forming a story (and they're all stories in some sense) to reach a reader. To make money online you will need to understand the speed of blog writing, true, but you will also want to learn this hidden structure. It's fairly complicated to say, but simple in practice. One crucial point of the hidden structure to speed blogging for online income is the "You-Factor". Sure, you lead an interesting life, and write about it on your blog. How does it apply to me? Even in paid posts, especially in paid posts, you will want to relate to your reader. Many think using "you" is wrong. That's a big mistake. Using "you" engages the reader. It helps them find a reason to keep reading, and maybe return to your blog. That's a huge victory.
Earning Blogging Income:
There are hundreds of topics on this subject. Speed, in no place more pronounced, works especially well when you are using paid post sites like Pay Per Post or Smorty to make money online. This means a blogging career, earning blogging cash. Those are big things. Here is an example: you use Smorty.com for paid blogging, typing up short posts for high pay. However, the opportunities on Smorty are available to everyone. You pick one, you have to write on it. Speed comes in: the faster you can write, the faster you will get to the next paid post. One post at a time, that's the way it goes. Not all sites are like that, but you will learn a good lesson in paid blogging if you understand it. There it is, the reason to speed up your blogging career.
Days of the Keyword:
Fast writing, in another sense, is full of keywords. Keywords are your path to build an online career, gaining online income on a daily basis. You can use all the keywords you want on a blog, on any given post. This applies to the structure of your speed blogging. For one, if you can outline a piece choosing 2-4 strong keywords, and use them, you will find success. If you write fast on important topics, with these keywords and a structure, I guarantee you'll have more than just a good time, as you will be earning blogging cash.
