Greetings my dear readers. Once again we are brought together to learn about the wonderful Jewish dating world. Today we will be covering Jewish personals and why they may or may not be the way to go about finding that perfect Jewish love for you.



Many of you have already seen all of the hype that some personal dating sites will throw out in the hopes of landing people who, well, let's face it....are desperate! I know what it is like to date people who seem nice and then turn out to be total fruitcakes. The dating scene can get pretty nuts at times. That is a big reason why many people will turn to Jewish personals to try to seek out that special someone.

The dating scene has become quite the ?show? so to speak over the years. If any of you remember back in the 80's it was not as difficult as it is now to find someone. Back then, things were a little more easy and laid back. Now with people focusing more on careers and less on family there is much less time to date and really get to know someone or even go out and try to meet someone the old fashioned way.

That is another reason why people have turned to the Jewish personals, or if you are not Jewish, just the personals. It is difficult enough out there in the fast lane just being you, but when you throw in Religion , well that just opens up a whole new can of worms. This one won't date that one because he or she doesn't worship kabala, and that one won't date this one because she or he doesn't believe in Jesus. It has become quite a touchy subject to say the least.

Surely if you are reading this now, you have decided to take that step and to look into the Jewish personals. Maybe you feel that now is the time to slow down with your life and start to focus more on family or creating a family with that special person who ideally will share in the same beliefs as you do. As stated, it is difficult enough trying to get along with someone enough to share a life and children with without having to argue over whether you will baptize your children in which faith. Love is difficult enough without adding that extra pressure to it.

If you are out there now and are looking in the Jewish personals for your ideal mate. Think long and hard on it before you make that step. In love, you have to be willing to give and take a little. If that means bending a little on which church to go to on which Sunday and if you should celebrate a certain holiday because your mother-in-law says so, then grin, take a breath and do that bending.

Surely when you find that someone who loves you in every way that counts, there will be some giving on their part as well. Until then, stick to your beliefs and stay true to who you are because your future love will want you to be who you ARE, not who you could be.
