Weve all heard of the 12 days of Christmas, but there are no advance celebrations for the most romantic day of the year, Valentines Day.



Be creative. Do something really special for your sweetie this Valentines day. I am going to do the 12 Days of Valentines. Starting 11 days before Valentines day, I will leave little gifts for my Valentine to find.

I have done this before only at Christmas time though. By the end of the fifth day, she couldn't wait to see what was next. Her anticipation was almost more exciting than the actual gifts and was really fun to watch.

If you really want to impress her, begin your love story by following along the same lines as this twelve day plan Day 1 " Give her one balloon that says "I Love You". One of the Tallahassee Flower Shops can help with this one. Day 2 " Buy her two tickets to a movie. Day 3 " Sing her three love songs. These can be taped or you can write your own words, that mean something special to her. It doesnt matter if you can sing or not, its the romance that counts. Day 4 " Write her four love poems. Make them in your own handwriting for sentimental reasons. Place these strategically around the house so she cant miss them. Day 5 " Give her five green m&m's. You can enjoy the rest of the bag with her later. Day 6 " Give her 6 chocolate hearts. Day 7 " Purchase seven assorted flowers. Your Valentine florists in Tallahassee can help with the perfect flowers. Day 8 " Bake her eight heart shaped cookies with one of each of the following letters I-L-O-V-E-Y-O-U written in icing!!! Day 9 " Give her nine message heart candies. Day 10 " Give her ten "I love you cards" and write a short note on each one. Im sure any of the Tallahassee local florists would be happy to sell you these. Day 11 " Give her eleven Hershey's hugs and kisses candies. Day 12 - Valentine's Day!!!" Send her 1 dozen red or pink roses.

This can be done every year and the locations and gifts can be changed around as well. Maybe start small and allow each day to get better and better.

What you will find is that after the first two or three days, your project will really not about the amount of money spent but how well you know her.
