Aggression is unfortunately a large part of antisocial behaviour in the modern world. It can be the behaviour of an individual whose intent is to harm another. Put simply Aggression can be defined as behaviour which is designed to cause harm or pain, psychological harm, or even physical personal injury.



Verbal Aggression can be extremely distressing to its intended recipient. Aggression can seriously be the reason for pathological behaviour. Often it is directed more towards the female gender, or children, but normally just towards adults that the aggressor for some reason has taken an intentional or unintentional disliking to.

Verbal Aggression is behaviour whose intent is to belittle or put down another human being and is hostile or destructive behaviour being used to make an attempt at domination of another individual.

Verbal threats of aggression or causing physical harm are usually seen in advance, by association with fearful or noticable body postures. Aggressive behaviour is often a way of looking for dominance.Therefore dominance aggression is all about the control of others less fortunate than the aggressor.

Many aggressive tendencies are written in the facial features, and there is generally a foreseeable link between bad temper and the shape of a man's face. Modern-day society is now considered much more aggressive than prior to the last decade.Constant bad tempered individuals are often more aggressive to and make threats towards whoever happens to get in their way.

Children who imitate violent behaviour patterns as seen on television and in films can be seen as consistently following the unfortunate theory of social learning.

HERE ARE NINE EXAMPLES THEY MAY FOLLOW!

1) A wrestler kicks his opponent when he is down

2) A farmer violently chops off a chicken's head

3) A golfer breaks an opponents leg with his club simply because he cannot stand losing

4) A footballer kicks the referee in anger at a decision

5) A drunk in public threatens someone he happens to bump into

6) A driver chases and beats up a slower and more docile driver that happens to temporarily hold him up

7) A rugby supporter attacks a rival just because the other team is winning

8) A burglar shoots a homeowner trying to protect his belongings and family

9) A child throws a tantrum and bites her playmate or sibling

In other words verbal or violent aggression can very easily be any behaviour that is intended to destroy the feelings of or deliberately another human.

WOMEN/ CHILDREN/ ELDERLY

Generally the most vulnerable victims of aggressive behaviour are women. Followed closely by children and the elderly. Many women who have suffered in this way look older than their years and indeed from forty plus look as if they are many years older than is true.

This article is aimed particularly at all those women, children, elderly people and even men who are victims of both verbal and violent aggression. You do not have to put up with such behaviour as there are many ways to deal with it.
