Verse Of The Bible

    View:
The Middle verse in chapter (38) of the Old Testament talks about Judah saw her; he thought she is a harlot.

The Middle verse in chapter (38) of the New Testament talks about the disciples said who can be saved?

The Middle verse in chapter (38) of the Noble Quran talks about Job's vowed to flog his wife 100 lashes but Allah made a pleasant compromise.

=========

Old Testament:

Chapter 38 in the Old Testament is Genesis (38); it is composed of 30 verses.

The Middle verse is that number 15

It says:

Genesis 38:15 (King James Version)

15) " When Judah saw her, he thought her to be a harlot; because she had covered her face."

This verse talks about Judah saw her, he thought she is a harlot

=========

New Testament

Chapter 38 in the New Testament is Mark 10; it is composed of 52 verses.

The Middle verse is that number 26

It says:

Mark 10: 26 (King James Version)

26)" And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, who then can be saved?"

This verse talks about the disciples said who can be saved?

=========

The Noble Quran:

Chapter 38 in the Noble Quran is SAD (THE LETTER SAD); it is composed of 88 verses.

The Middle verse is that number 44

It says:

SAD 38:44

44) "and take in thy hand a little grass, and smite therewith: and break not (thy oath)." truly we found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in our service! Ever did he turn (to Allah)!"

This verse talks about Job's vowed to flog his wife 100 lashes but Allah made a pleasant compromise.

Job's oath:

He was angry at his wife. It is said that it was because in one occasion she was late in coming to him when he was very ill. It is also said that she said something which did not please Allah like why Allah made you very ill like that. Anyway, Job vowed that if Allah were to cure him, he would flog his wife 100 lashes. Job was a Prophet.

A Prophet never lies and must keep his word.

Allah made a pleasant compromise:

Allah healed Job and he became normal. Job wanted to flog his wife 100 lashes one by one. Allah, the Merciful, does not like Job to hurt his wife. Allah commanded Job to take in his hand a bunch of twigs, or some blades of grass of 100 spikes of grain (and smite gently with it his wife. So he took a hundred rushes and smote her with them once [and that sufficed to fulfill his oath]. Hence, Job kept his word and did not break his oath. Then Allah Honors Job because he 1) he was steadfast in trial, 2) he was an excellent servant, 3) he was ever turning in repentance to Allah, 4) he was ever obedient to Allah and betaking himself to Allah's obedience.

This meaningful story is not mentioned in the Bible!

Verse Of The Bible
The Middle verse in chapter (39) of the Old Testament talks about she wanted to make love with Joseph but he fled, and got him out.

The Middle verse in chapter (39) of the New Testament talks about Jesus said that the Jewish Priests made God's house a den of thieves.

The Middle verse in chapter (39) of the Noble Quran talks about 1) the ignorant disbelieved Arabs knew that Allah is the Creator of the heavens and the earth; 2) No one can stop Allah's willpower and 3) Put your trust in Allah.

=========

Old Testament:

Chapter 39 in the Old Testament is Genesis (39); it is composed of 23 verses.

The Middle verse is that number 12

It says:

Genesis 39:12 (King James Version)

12) "And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out."

This verse talks about she wanted to make love with Joseph but he fled, and got him out.

N.B.: in the Quran, Joseph's garment is not left in her hand, but he fled and she caught his garment and tore it from behind; this was the evidence that Joseph was innocent!

=========

New Testament

Chapter 39 in the New Testament is Mark 11; it is composed of 33 verses.

The Middle verse is that number 17

It says:

Mark 11: 17 (King James Version)

17)" And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves."

This verse talks about Jesus said that the Jewish Priests made God's house a den of thieves.

=========

The Noble Quran:

Chapter 39 in the Noble Quran is AZ-ZUMAR (THE TROOPS); it is composed of 75 verses.

The Middle verse is that number 38

It says:

AZ-ZUMAR 39:38

38) " if you ask them who created the heavens and the earth, they will reply: 'Allah. ' say: 'do you think that, if Allah wills to afflict me those you call upon, other than him, could remove his affliction, or, that if he wills to let me have mercy, they could withhold his mercy? 'Say: 'Allah suffices me. Those who put their trust put their trust in him."

The verse indicates that:

1) And if you ask them, ‘Who created the heavens and the earth?’ they will surely say, ‘Allah.’

2) Say: ‘Have you considered then those on whom you call, those whom you worship, besides Allah, namely, the idols, if Allah should desire some harm to befall me, would they be able to remove the harm imposed by Him? No!

3) Or if Allah should desire some mercy for me, would they be able to withhold His mercy?’ No!

4) Say: ‘God is sufficient for me. In Him do all the trusting put their trust’.

This verse talks about 1) the ignorant disbelieved Arabs knew that Allah is the Creator of the heavens and the earth; 2) No one can stop Allah's willpower and 3) Put your trust in Allah.
