With sudden surges and spikes in sales and earnings within the business, there must be a task force prepared to deal with the pressures of those sudden increases. An untrained or under-qualified manager can actually damage the revenue during these times that could potentially bring great progress. What do we as employers do to resolve this issue?

The answer can be simple if we are up to the task. There is a way to allow these employees to develop the tact needed to manage within your business and give them the confidence to deal with the pressure that will come when the business is booming.

The best training you can give to these individuals would be to give them the understanding that you have. Allow them to see the company the way you see it. Give a presentation of your vision and what you see as the struggles ahead of you. Ask their support and encourage them to work together with patience and diligence to achieve the company's vision. You should then plot out the different things that you personally have managed in the company.

Think about what skills you had when performing this task that would be beneficial to your managers. Perhaps it was daily and weekly planning that kept you focused during a project. If you could take that same skill and demonstrate its value and importance to your managers, your team will be better equipped to face the challenges ahead.

Your managers will appreciate the example of leadership that you give them. Be disciplined in the way you conduct yourself. Do what you say you will do for your employees. Do not give any manager an excuse to blame you for having taught a lack of integrity. Dishonesty is a plague that broods from the bottom and tries to climb up your company's ladder. You must never allow lies and deceit to begin at the top of your company's structure, for it will leak down into every pore of your business.
