Examples Of Business Emails
Debbie Allen
Internet marketing has its drawbacks; you cannot use your good looks and charm to get those sales nor does your personality shine through as easily without the advantage of body language. As an Internet marketer you are often limited to the use of emails to get your messages across. Emails can be essential building blocks of your business.
But constructing quality emails or newsletter is imperative if you are to get your messages read and perhaps even more importantly, not have a high ratio of unsubscribers. The way to do this is not difficult, in fact, all you need to do is look through your own inbox and see which emails you appreciate and model the ones you send after those.
To begin, you need to look at the subject lines used in those valued emails and newsletters. Consider what it is about them that intrigue you enough to get you to open the email. Perhaps they arouse your curiosity or they grab your attention with some amazing statement.
It would not be a good idea to completely copy those favorite emails but take some ideas from them and add in your own flavor and style. This will result in a subject line that is uniquely you.
The same can be said for the content of the emails also. Most emails that we value and appreciate contain something in them that we find useful. Some Internet marketers send their subscribers an occasional gift as well as solid information that can be helpful in the niche that the subscriber is in.
Follow that example. This will help to establish you as an authority in the niche as well as build your credibility and your readers will develop a trust in your advice and opinions. The obvious advantage to that is the fact that when you do recommend or suggest a product your subscribers are more likely to make the purchase.
Regular emails offer you the opportunity to interact with your subscribers in other ways as well. You can always add a statement related to the fact that you would love to hear from your readers; any responses you get can be used as fuel for creating new products or simply for content of future emails. Regardless, you are offering yourself to your subscribers and that is appreciated by many.
Do not be afraid to share a little bit about yourself. Let your subscribers feel they are getting to know the real person behind the webmaster or Internet marketer. This will help to establish a bond of sorts which may help to strengthen any loyalty already felt by your readers.
Because you are limited to words on a computer screen as your means of communication it is crucial that you make the most of every email and or newsletter that you share with your subscribers. In the physical world we have the advantage of using facial expressions and body language to enhance our communication but in the world of the Internet those options are not available.
Write as if you are talking to a friend, not a group of friends but a single person. Keep things honest and stand behind what you say. Your credibility will grow and so will your business.
