For sufferers of Anxiety, Panic Attacks and depression there is no magic potion that will cure you overnight. Nor will anti-depressants or any herbal potions cure you immediately. They will reduce the frequency and severity of symptoms, but often they will mask the problem. You must be honest at least to yourself and admit what your problem is. Once you can say to your inner voice, this is my problem, how can I fix it? You will be feeding your mind to find out how you can eliminate the problem and how you can become the person you want to be.
The Solutions Need to Be Tested
I put every possible thing or idea to the test to see if it worked. If it didn't help I did not Stop. I just moved on to the next thing. On the days the pain was so bad that I stayed in bed I made my mind up to think about solutions and not dwell on the problems. I always concentrated on the positives. That is how I got to be here today to write this for you. Now that's the power of positive thinking.
Where Did I Get My Ideas?
I turned to Self-Help products. Specifically using audio recordings. I listened to Tony Robins (who helped me quite a bit) Dr Wayne Dyer, Depak Chopra, and many others. It doesn't matter if you don't like some of the things that these people say. I took what I needed and used it, leaving the rest behind.
These audios planted seeds in my mind that I could be successful both at work and in my family life. I wasn't promised take this pill or read this book or listen to this audio and all of your problems will be gone forever. No, I was given many different ideas some that even conflicted with on another.
On a conscience level a lot of what I was hearing was made sense. But the big changes were happening at the subconscious level. By shear repetition of listening to the tapes I liked, I was preparing myself for a new way out of my problems. Becoming a different person one day at a time. By concentrating on what I should do in a positive way without letting self-doubt sabotage me I persevered to become happy with myself like I have never felt before.
Audios
I cannot stress enough how much a part of my healing was due to the audios I listened to. Audios are great you can listen to them at almost any time of day or night.
Today many audios can be downloaded in MP3 format from the Internet. You can burn them to a CD and play them in your car or on your portable CD player with headphones. Or you can upload them to your MP3 player.
I prefer to listen to audios with headphones. I feel like I am getting the message from the audio with out any distractions from the surrounding environment.
If you or someone you love is suffering from Anxiety, Fear, Phobias, Anxiety Attacks, Panic Attacks or Depression then they need to get a to a doctor to get a full diagnosis. If they won't go to the doctor, try to get them to listen to some audios. This can prime the pump of recovery. Once they are moving in a positive direction they're treatment can be custome made for them.
