Parenthood is the greatest step of a person's life. Being a parent is associated with varying responsibilities. Among them are taking care of the unborn child, delivering and raising the kid with delicate love and care, providing them their basic needs and teaching them how to become responsible people. From this simple list of responsibilities, we could realize that being a parent isn't that simple.
Bad parenting strategies might result to errors done by kids not simply within the family, but also in the classroom and community. Different instances of teen suicide are occurring. Poorly fed kids could also result from poor parenting.
The rate of kids continuing their primary and secondary schooling is plummeting. Property crimes are now including some kids. And then, the most frightening, teen pregnancy as early as the age of fourteen, and most of them opt to have an abortion because they don't want to be excommunicated their families if they know about it. Social errors undertaken that could end up in poor individuals.
Who else can we find responsible? Instead of blaming parents out there, it is a good idea to refer them to the basics of great parenting. It may reverse the current things just listed above. Good parenting may also stop bad things to happen at a later date.
What is the guiding mission of great parenting? According to Dr Michael Dana, a youth affairs expert for the Federal Government. states: its mission is to "foster the children in a way that allows them to grow up to be normal, productive and law-abiding adults who have realized their God-given potentials".
It should encompass the life of a parent and their relationship with their kids, sharing with them everything that they need for them to realize who they actually are as a human being.
