Nowadays Pitti Immagine, one of the most significant wear shows worldwide, is dedicated to fashion designers. In the frame of the exhibition spaces of the Fortezza da Basso, three different events, Pitti Uomo, Pitti Bimbo and Pitti Filati, take place to show the previews of fashion collections of spring-summer 2008.
Do knit yourself!
Pitti Immagine this year presented Do Knit Yourself, inspired by the new craze for knitting, with men and women getting together in Knit Cafés -mainly in the United States and Japan- to knit while drinking infusions and teas. For the occasion, a group of Cafés and style spots in Florence will be transformed into knit-cafés.
