Exporthailand
New additions to the Haw Par Healthcare Company's
line of products are the
Tiger Liniments, Medicated Hot and Cool Plasters, Muscle Rubs, Neck & Shoulder
Rubs, and Oils. Based on the Original Tiger Balm formula, their ingredients are the usual camphor and
menthol mix, then mint and cajaput and clove bud oil. The red
Original Tiger Balm jars are extra strength unguents. These jars have
added cassia oil which gives them a cinnamon scent.
Original
Balm jars have a milder mint scent. Liniments are the liquid versions
of the product. They are packaged in 28 milliliter bottles. Its main ingredient
is methyl salicylate with the camphor and menthol mix. A little eucalyptus oil
and spike lavender oil is then added. Medicated plasters are square patches
infused with the Tiger Balm formula. These can be applied directly by attaching
to the skin. The oil, called Kwan Loong, have the same ingredients as the
liniments with the difference of an added light mineral oil base. Then there are
the neck & shoulder and muscle rubs. These are topical non-greasy cream
analgesics.
The original red and white balms are packaged in
small 19.4 gram jars and big 30 gram jars. Liniment bottles are 28ml, and the
medicated plasters come in medium and large packs, with the larger pack
containing 2 plasters. The
comes in 57 ml bottles. The muscle rub has a 30g packaging while the neck and
shoulder rub is packaged in a 50 g container.
