Becoming a mommy is perhaps the best thing that can happen in a woman's life. However, pregnancy comes with its own troubles. No sooner have you finished delivering the baby that you are now faced with the problem of losing all the extra fat that you have acquired during those nine months! In fact, moms face more obstacles to weight loss than others, and these obstacles are as follows:
1. Habits which were pick up during nine months period. Mothers have to eat a lot during this period and naturally will gain those extra pounds. So it follows to lose weight, mother needs to reduce what they eat. But because it has become a habit, it is very difficult to break the cycle.
2. Lack of time: For a mom, her baby becomes the central focus of attention. For this reason, she cannot focus on stuff that can help her lose weight, such as meal planning, calorie counting, etc.
3. Babies during infancy are very demanding for the mother's attention. This often results in the mother not having enough sleep as the baby will keep waking her up. This can cause any mother to feel constantly hungry and ultimately more weight gained.
4. Stress: The post-natal period is one of the most stressful periods in a new mom's life. Excessive stress can result in quick weight again!
Despite all these opposing factors, I can say that losing weight is not too difficult even for a mom! To lose weight, you simply need to burn more calories than what you consume. Plus you also need to sleep well. In this article I will tell you about two effective weight loss methods:
1. By exercising & workouts. Being a busy mother does not mean that we cannot spare even half an hour to workout during our daily routine. For example while at the office,you can use the lunch break to do some exercising. There are actually many ways that you can fit the time around a 30 minutes workout schedule daily. All you have to do is to organize and made a little adjustment towards your daily routine and maximize your time. For example, while doing the laundry, the time in between each wash cycle need not be wasted.
2.Mothers also have the habit of perpetually preparing food for their children. And any food that is left over by the kids, we tend to munch on the leftovers as we feel it will be wasted. It is crucial to change this bad habit and learn to prepare a proper diet plan to follow. Remember that different diets works for different people and there is no one diet that fits all. Therefore if need too, consult a doctor before taking up a diet plan.
But if you are choosing to breastfeed your baby, then do not diet. Breastfeeding the baby is a good and fast way to lose those excess fats actually. This is because the fats are all taken up by baby through the mother's milk.
